The stock boost sensors low level (1.6bar) limit will cause the ecu to cut power immediately if that threshold is met, this sensor will allow you to safely run higher boost levels.

This sensor is direct plug and play into the stock loom and hose connection however the mounting holes in the vehicle must be modified slightly
