This kit allows the proud OM617 owner to install a modern and inexpensive 6 speed ZF transmission with overdrive to their engine. This kit has good driving manners with no juddering upon take off, however, there will be an increase in clutch pedal weight. We do have some clutch booster options if this is an issue.
This 37dz transmission can be found in 1-3-5 series BMW models with the 2.0 litre diesel engine, US customers would find it in E87 120d models, however in the UK and Europe itās commonly used in E46, E90 and E60 models 320d and 520d respectively.
